The Sentinel by Sentronica Android Mobile App and Wear OS App will be made available on Google Play once it has been approved for public release. Current estimated launch is mid-January. Users of Sentinel for Wear OS will be required to create a Sentronica account by completing the registration process. After registraton, members can login to Sentronica.com to start their subscriptions which is $5/mo.
The new version of Sentinel for 2026 is specifically designed for Android phones and Wear OS smartwatches. Sentronica has tested Sentinel on older watches like the Samsung Galaxy 4 (2021), newer watches like the Samsung Galaxy 7 (2024), and the new Pixel 4 Watch (2025). We have not tested Sentinel on every Wear OS smartwatch, but the general recommendation is that any Samsung Galaxy watch that is 4 or newer, or Pixel watch that is version 3 or newer should work.

The legacy Fitbit Version of Sentinel is still available for free, but the software is nolonger updated by Sentronica, and Google's 'support for Fitbit development has ended. The benefit of using the new version of Sentinel for Wear OS is the freedom and stability provided by the custom companion app (mobile app). The app on the phone is purpose built to fetch and serve CGM data to the watch.
A Sentronica account with an active subscription is required for the app and watch to function. By providing Sentinel for a fee, Sentronica will be able to maintain, update, and expand Sentinel to new and different smartwatch platforms. Sentronica members are encouraged to report bugs, and request modifications, and enhancements which will be seriously considered by Sentronica developers as we plan to regularly push updates to improve performance and interoperability into the future.
